Northshore Enrollment for the 2025-26 School Year Opens January 8, 2025!
New student enrollment, including Kindergarten, for the 2025-26 school year opens January 8, 2025. Families who have students currently enrolled in a Northshore school this school year do not need to re-enroll.
By enrolling this winter for the 2025-26 school year, there are a number of benefits:

Connection to your child’s school community including information about school tours and Kindergarten events; and

Early enrollment helps the district correctly staff classrooms, services, and prepare for great learning environments for our students.

If you need help enrolling your child or children for school, including translation or interpretation in another language, please contact your child’s future school for enrollment information and support. You can find each school's contact information here. Your attendance area school is based on your home address. You can find your child’s school by using the Address Look Up Tool.
Waivers
IN-DISTRICT STUDENTS
Each Northshore student is assigned to an attendance area school based on their home address. You can find your child’s attendance area school by using the Address Look Up Tool.
If you would like your child to attend a school they are not assigned to within our district, a parent/guardian may fill out an in-district waiver application. Please review the list of schools that are at capacity and unable to accept waivers at this time.
NEW OUT OF DISTRICT FAMILIES
Must submit a Choice Transfer Request. If Choice Transfer Request is approved:
- Out of district families must submit paper copies of enrollment forms and required documentation to the approved school.

Below is the timeline for the waiver waitlists, including out-of-district waivers.
- January 6, 2025:
- Employee Waivers (Grades K-12): Full Time Northshore School District Employees.
- Current In-district and Out of District Waivers (Grades K-12): Students who are currently on an In-District or Out of District waiver.
- March 4, 2025:
- New In-District and Out-of-District Waivers (Grades K-12): Students submitting a waiver request for the first time within the Northshore School District service area. Includes students moving from 5th to 6th grade and from 8th to 9th grade

Choice Schools and Programs (Innovation Lab High School, Northshore Learning Options, IB Progam, Dual Language Program, PACE)
In addition to excellent neighborhood schools, Northshore offers a variety of choice schools and programs. A choice school or program may be exactly what your child needs to thrive academically and socially. Choice school applications for school year 2025-26 will open on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Inglemoor's IB Program uses the District waiver process, parents/guardians will indicate interest in IB when submitting a waiver for Inglemoor.
